In a twist of fate, an assistant district attorney who prosecutes DWI cases was arrested early Saturday morning in Waco on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, reports the Waco Tribune-Herald.
Kristen Parker, 27, was booked into the McLennan County Jail shortly before 4:45 a.m. after being arrested by a Baylor University police officer, authorities said.
She was released later the same day after posting a $ 1,000 surety bond.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Parker graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2010 and received her law degree from Baylor Law School in 2014.
